A Few Spaces Remaining for IILA’s Iona and Scotland Pilgrimage May 5–16, 2026

A Special Invitation from IILA President and CEO, Cambria Tortorelli

Dear Friends of International Institute of Los Angeles,

We still have a few spaces available on our Scotland Pilgrimage, May 5–16, 2026. Phil and Elaine Brennan will lead a group of 15 pilgrims over eleven meaningful days, joined by an experienced team of guides offering spiritual insight, reflection, and local knowledge. This promises to be a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Itinerary Highlights:

Days 1–6: Gather in Edinburgh on May 5 and travel to our hotel near St Andrews. Over the next five days, we will walk the Fife Pilgrim Way, with two daily walking options—either a more strenuous 10-mile pilgrim walk or a gentler alternative.

Day 7: Travel west by coach through Scotland’s stunning countryside, followed by ferry crossings to the Isle of Mull and onward to the sacred island of Iona.

Days 7–10: Four nights on Iona, an iconic place of deep peace and rich Celtic Christian heritage. We will have plenty of time for quiet reflection and contemplation, as well as guided opportunities to explore the culture, history and spirituality of the island.

Day 11: Return to Edinburgh for our final night on May 15, flying home on May 16.

Cost:
• $4,850 per person – single room
• $4,400 per person – shared room
(Please note: all rooms on Iona will be shared.)

The pilgrimage includes all accommodation, meals, guided walks and tours, transfers, luggage handling, and a few special surprises.  The cost also includes a $1,000 tax deductible donation to International Institute of Los Angeles to support our work.
